The SAN LORENZO SUB-COMMUNITY is one of four sub-communities of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Cagayan de Oro City. Also known as the residents of BUILDING "A," the community recently took a break for their official PHOTO OP. We got this idea from the batches of former San Lorenzo moderator Fr. Norlan Julia, SJ whose group photographs had been "forever" memorialized in the building's halls. We do so also since the composition of the sub-com changes each year (those in 4th year to graduate in March while those in 2nd year will move to their Ministry Year). It's but fitting therefore to capture, at least On-Cam, the faces of friends who had supported us the past year ... through thick and thin. We are ever grateful to one community-mate SEM. DULCENAR MONTANTE (Butuan) whose passing at the beginning of the year kept our San Lorenzo spirit always alive.
Who decides which seminarian goes to which building? Or better to ask ... what qualifications must be present for one to qualify as a San Lorenzo resident? Check the pictures!!!! Tsk! Tsk!
This year, we welcomed Fr. Rey Raluto (Malaybalay) as co-moderator. Fr. Julius Clavero (CDO) had a one-year stint with us also last year.

| The sub-community had been blessed this year with the ordination of two deacons namely: Rev. Melvin Abejero (CDO) and Rev. Lloyd Liwagon (Talibon). The ordination of 4th Year "Kuya" seminarian Leonardo Quizada Jr. will be scheduled in Tandag in the near future. |
